The famous painted scallop ( not really painted though ). Top seashells for crafting – scallops are the most familiar of all shells – admired for their texture and beautifully sculptured ribs. Striking colour pattern and pinkish maroon if there is such a thing. In fact, we are making a beautiful seashell mirror right now and these are working perfectly! These can be found in the Indo Pacific from shallow water to a depth of 65 feet. Minimum 4 cms, some of these are paired but most single Better for crafting ) and do really have a pretty pink to purple colouring. Great for crafting or adding striking colour to seashell collections.
