These are predatory and feed off worms. Their attractive shape make them very collectable and we get batches once a year. Indigenous Australians use these for water containers and a musical instrument – we are not sure if any rock bands have had a number one playing them though. If you have a clam in your seashell collection you probably should have one of these alongside.
