Rules of the Inn Galley Cloth

For 25 years we have been selling the Rules of the Inn poster but now we have sourced these as galley cloth tea towels. The pub next door to our shop framed one of these and mark my words, it looked great. These Rules of the Inn Galley Cloths measure 75 cms in height and 47 cms in width and are made of cotton.  Let’s face it, every home these days is an inn but this  is a winner for your home bar, man cave etc.

Scallop with White Seashells

This Scallop with white seashells is a great combination for pretty seashell decor in the home, for weddings or for the beach hut. Great nautical decoration for bedrooms, living spaces etc. and we have an  English white scallop measuring 10 cms in height and 10 cms wide with a scattering of beautiful white tiny, tiny, tiny conch seashells measuring 1.5 cms each with at least of 90 of them loose in the scallop shell. We have made this Scallop with White Seashells combination as they are a perfect contrast to each other and there would be enough room for a tea light too if you took out a few of the tiny white conch seashells. We combine the best seashells and have been selling seashells sensibly for 25 years. We also have a bricks and mortar shop on Poole Quay in beautiful Dorset which is open every day through the Summer. We close if it is raining and open up again when the rain stops!

The listing is for ONE HALF of an Orange Lion Paw Scallop measuring approximately 12 cms wide and 12 cms high (the picture shows two items). A very good size and dramatically named orange lion paw scallop.  For us, these can be used as nautical decor and also for posh dining! The Orange Lion Paw Scallop is sourced from the Indian Ocean and colours vary as these are natural real scallops.

Beautiful old spondylus seashell measuring approximately 9 cms wide and 9 cms high. These are quite rare now and the top and bottom is hinged and can come apart. Truly a beautiful a seashell, mainly sourced from the Philippines. A delicate beautiful seashell.

Beautiful white heart cockle seashell – light and a perfect gift or addition to a seashell display. Also called Love Shells, heart cockles and for the enthusiast the Latin name is Cardium Cardissa – measure 5 cms by 4 cms on average – a little rare!

These Brown Natural Pearlised Oysters are a minimum 15 cms wide. They are beautiful  bronze pearlised oyster lips – these are not paired. These Brown Natural Pearlised Oyster are very attractive flat seashells. This shell comes from the Philippines.

Marble Cowrie – Rare

Well – we seek high and low for the best seashells for the best collectors. Here we have a batch of rare marble cowries measuring 7.5 cms by 3 cms in height and a depth approaching 5 cms. These Marble Cowries are hard to come by, take a look at the tab in the picture showing the provenance which dates these seashells back to the 1960s. Really beautiful colour and smooth texture with a flat aperture. Definitely one for the collection.
