Our customers comment on how simple it is to navigate this site. We aim to list the
best selling 20 shop lines in each category in a "scroll down" procedure and not to bulk up
the site with slower sellers or older stock lines. Your choices online at Dorset Gifts will therefore
be proven best sellers from a much larger retail offering. What you see online are gifts that both our
suppliers and customers have made popular, though they are certainly not easily available on the high
street. We have several hundred more stock lines similar to these, so if we haven't got exactly what
you're after, it's always worth contacting us at email@example.com

Our shopping basket, in common with the vast majority of shopping carts on the internet
that is, they expire after a short time period, usually an hour. The only exception to this is if you

other companies, we do not charge extra for using your credit card. We also accept payment by Paypal.

Payment by Cheque
We accept payment by cheques drawn on a UK Bank Account. The cheque should be made
payable to Wessex Gifts Ltd. and sent to:
Wessex Gifts Ltd, Ground Floor, Grace House, Poole Quay, Dorset, BH15 1HJ.
You will need your bank account and cheque details to hand when placing an order and goods will be dispatched
after we have received the cheque and it has cleared.
Postage and Packing
We try and keep our carriage rates as competitive and fair as possible. Gifts require
careful packaging and we take time to make sure your items are forwarded on to you in a secure and competent
fashion. We mainly use Royal Mail Standard and Parcelforce48 as this enables us to keep the cost of
carriage at a more economical level to you. If you require a next day delivery service within the UK, please let us know at the time of placing your order and there will be an across the board surcharge

Please note that we can only ship
items of furniture within the UK.
Where an address has been stated for delivery and Royal Mail, Parcelforce
or any other chosen carrier fails to make that delivery and the item is returned to us for any
reason to include the delivery address being incomplete, we reserve the right to still charge the original
postage charge as well as the charge made by our carrier to return the item to us. This will usually
be significantly more than the buyer has paid in the first instance for delivery and we
therefore request that all worldwide delivery addresses are correctly entered by you, the buyer for delivery
from us, the sellers.
Images on our website are in our opinion a very fair reflection
of the goods we send to you. Where products are natural there will of course be slight differences
in appearance and we ask you, the buyer, to specify if there are more precise colours or shapes
you require when ordering. However, where these products are
natural (gemstones, minerals, seashells etc) we cannot guarantee exact colour matches/shapes and you,
the buyer, will be responsible for postage costs to and from us, the seller.
The exact seashells pictured on the site may not always be in stock and at such times we will occasionally substitute the
ordered shell or shells for shells of equal or higher value which are as close a match as possible.
We will always enclose a note if this has been done to avoid any confusion.
All the prices on the website are inclusive of VAT at 20%.
We ship our products either by First Class post or delivery courier depending on the
size of the item(s). Orders placed before 2.00pm will be processed on that day. After 2.00pm they will
be processed on the next working day. Orders will be dispatched immediately and should be with received
within 3 to 5 working days in the UK.
Out of Stock Items
In the unlikely event that an item you order is out of stock we will contact you immediately
by email to let you know and to inform you when the item will be back in stock. You then have the option
to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your order by emailing us or notifying
us by post up to seven calendar days after the date
that you placed the order or seven days after receipt of
the goods whichever is the longer.
If the goods have already been dispatched you must return
them to us within 14 days of letting us know that you intend
to cancel the order.
Your card will be refunded within 14 days
of the date that we receive the returned goods. Your refund
will be for the amount paid for the goods minus the standard
delivery cost for the order.
If no postage has been paid by the buyer we deduct the standard postage price
that would have been paid.
Extra delivery costs
such as next day delivery charges will not be refunded.
Goods should be returned in the original packaging and
in the same condition they were in when we dispatched them
to you. You are responsible for paying your own postage
or shipping charges to return the item to us.
We recycle packaging as much as we can - we will send all products in the original
packaging from the manufacturers but expect to find "padding" and "buffering" packaging
in cardboard ready for you to easily dispose of in your recycling bin. The gift industry is one of the
most wasteful in respect of packaging and the use of commodoties such as bubble wrap - although we'll
use it, we don't want to have a party with it, so you'll find our gifts perfectly and securely packed
but around the edges they will lean towards recycling with your help.
